This t-shirt was designed by a refugee in Zürich. T-shirts are made from GOTS certified organic cotton, and are produced according to fair-trade principles, by an organization in India that re-trains and employs former prostitutes. 20% of the value of this t-shirt will go either to the refugee designer, or to a non-profit organisation of their choice, depending on their permit status in Switzerland. Mojtaba chose to donate his 20% to Malaika theater, a local theatre group for refugees where he participates as an actor.

Story by: Irshad Nasir Ali (Balujistan)
Two years and seven months ago I was in another country, Oman. I would have liked to take photographs, but I didn’t have a camera and anyway, that country and the surroundings weren’t that attractive.
When I came to Switzerland, I tried to find a camera and a photography course, but I didn’t have enough money and I didn’t know anyone who could help me.
Then in a German course I became friends with a photographer and she gave me a small camera. Now I’m doing photography and practicing. Today, somebody offered me the chance to have some photography training, and I became very happy. Finally, after two years and seven months my dream comes true.
